the entire house

The entire house is available to rent so you can have the space all to yourself. This is perfect for six friends visiting together, a family reunion or for three to four people who want the extra space.

Stay with us in Oaxaca City…

At the end of 2020 we opened our house right in the heart of Barrio de Jalatlaco, one of the best areas to stay in Oaxaca City. We have designed the space to be a tranquil haven to hang out after a days’ exploring and to be remote worker friendly, as many more people began to ‘work from home’ and travel to other destinations to set up office.

Enjoy Oaxaca from your bedroom with locally sourced artisans and ceramics…

The house is ideal for couples, family reunions or groups of friends visiting Oaxaca City and for those who are working remotely, there is a selection of vibrant and creative workspaces to choose from. There are three bedrooms, each with their own private bathroom, charm and character. Our brightly coloured Mid-Century design walls create a positive and inspirational feel – something we believe makes ALDEA TUYA stand out from other accommodations. We have individually decorated the rooms with hand woven textiles from Teotitlan del Valle so you can experience Oaxaca culture straight from your bedroom.

As we are located in a quiet, residential neighbourhood, there is little noise. Past guests have even been able to record podcasts and live interviews from their rooms! Choose to work from our comfy sofas, handmade mosaic tables, under the disco ball in our rest net, or up on the terrace in the refreshing breeze.

At sunset, head to the roof terrace for spectacular views of the Guelaguetza Auditorium and the mountains that surround Oaxaca. A beer or a mezcal in our huge Yucatán hammock should be a daily occurrence and why not throw a dinner party on our rustic tree trunk table over looking the cityscape!

The entire house is available to rent and fits up to 6 people.
